Maple, Bacon and Sprouts Recipe

Side Dish or Main Course, You Decide!

I’ve set this up for 4 servings as an appetizer or side dish. Split it down the middle and it’s a very hearty meal for 2. And that touch of Primal Woods Pure Maple Syrup sweetness. Even the dog will eat sprouts if you pile on enough bacon!

Maple, Bacon and Sprouts

Prep Time: 15 min            Cook Time: 45 min

Makes: 4 Servings

Ingredients

Directions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 425°F
  • Trim stems and halve Brussels sprouts
  • Slice, chop, cube the bacon, whatever
  • Put the sprouts cut face down on a cookie sheet or in a baking dish or pan
  • Put the bacon on top of the sprouts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Put the pan(s) in the oven
  • After about 20 min drizzle the Primal Woods Pure Maple Syrup over the bacon and sprouts
  • After another 25 minutes or so remove from the oven and chow down
  • Don’t forget to turn off the oven
  • Leave the dishes to someone else
  • Take a nap

Bacon, What’s Not to Like

Simpler is better. This is good stuff; as appetizer, side dish, or the main course. The maple syrup adds just a touch of sweetness; of course you can sweeten the dish to your taste by adding more.
